iPhone 2.0.0/2.0.1 Contacts app delay

With the iPhone 2.0.0/2.0.1 OS, the Contacts app exhibits significant delay when launching. What is strange is that the same contacts list when launched from the Phone app is instantly available.

Anyone else noticing this?

Yep, I got it as well. Further, the keyboard in SMS sticks.

Yeah, I read some other forums and lots of other people are getting the same problem. I had my I-phone for about 1 week, and already seeing the problem with the contacts as you describe (delay, won’t move, then choppy when moving, then it smoothes out). I was thinking of restoring the phone, but not sure if it would help. I also updated to the new 2.01 software, and the same thing still is happening.

Another issue, even when i clear my history of map searches, history on my browser, clear everything where possible, it still remembers map searches with a pop-up screen when more than one location that I inputed at an earlier times. It asks me which location address I want to find, even when I pick one in the pop-up, it keeps poping up.

    Any suggestions?
