Firefox 3 on OS X: Fugly

Here is Safari 3 on OS X:

smooth, consistent colors

Here is Firefox 3 RC3 on OS X:

inconsistent colors, stripes, a blue box around the active tab

What gives? The active tab isn’t the same color as the toolbar background, so it looks horrible. What’s with the blue highlight when I click the active tab?

    Look on the bright side, though. It’s less ugly than Fx2 on OS X. That was revolting.
